• This week marks the conclusion of the Sprint 10 development cycle. The release window opens up next Tuesday, and if everything goes according to plan, YUI 3.13 should become available on the CDN shortly afterwards. Thanks to the dozens of contributors who have submitted hundreds of commits over the past month. • A reminder of last week's announcement that the Call for YUIConf Speakers deadline is next Friday, October 11th. So if you have a talk you’d like to propose, let us know!

• At this week’s Open Roundtable, discussion topics included the possible convergence of yui-db and Y.Storage, as well as an update on YUI 3.13 and YUIConf. You can find a video of that Hangout here.

• Recent threads on the contributor mailing list include continued discussion on a proposal to improve gesture events and nesting Y.Apps.
