• Three weeks until YUIConf! This week we released a survey containing some of the talk proposals submitted so far. You can help out with the schedule planning by voting on talks that interest you the most. If you have yet to RSVP, you can do so on the registration page.

• With with the conclusion of Sprint 10 and YUI 3.13.0 out the door, the project now begins work on the next development cycle. As noted on the Development Schedule wiki, Sprint 11 began October 16th, and will conclude on November 25th. We anticipate a Beta release prior to YUIConf, so if there's anything you'd like to get into the library for that release, please submit a pull request soon.

• At this week’s Open Roundtable, discussion topics included YUIConf, a preview of the YUI Dependency Calculator, an update on Pure Grids, and a review of YUI's plato report. You can find a video of that Hangout here.
