YUI Weekly for February 7th, 2014
Welcome to YUI Weekly, the weekly roundup of news and announcements from the YUI team and community.
Release News
Work continues on Sprint 12, which is slated to release on February 25th. You can track the commits as they land on the dev-3.x and dev-master branches.
Open Roundtable
This week's Open Roundtable featured another episode of YUI In The Wild. This week, Pat Cavit from ArenaNet joined us to talk about how they use YUI for their websites and in-game user-interfaces.
Pat touched on a bunch of tools that are used in ArenaNet, such a NodeJS-powered task runner called Dullard, and a YUI meta-data extractor called Configgur. He also showed a bunch of modules and extensions on top of YUI. Check out the entire video and browse Pat's GitHub to find the repositories that was referenced.
YUIConf Videos
Last but not least, we're still posting out YUIConf videos every other day or so. The videos released this week were:
- The “Building Blocks” of Prototyping by Lauren Tsung
- JavaScript API Design Principles by Ariya Hidayat
- YUI and the History of OSS at Yahoo by Dav Glass
Remember that you can find a full list of all the videos over on the YUI Library Youtube Channel. That's all for this week! See you in 7 days, folks.
